Certified copies of birth and death records are available in our office, by phone or mail for $25.00 each. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted at the office. Please note: Payments made by credit card are charged a convenience fee.

Records for births and deaths were not kept in the State of Ohio until 1909. The Geauga County Public Library at 110 E. Park St., Chardon, Ohio 44024, houses records from 1867 to 1908. You can reach the genealogy department by calling (440) 285-7601.
