DESCRIPTION:Consistent with the Ohio Revised Code 3709.09\, Geauga Public Health will hold a Public Hearing to hear comments regarding adoption of fees for the Ohio Administrative Code 3701-29 – Household Sewage Treatment Systems. \n  \nGeauga Public Health Fee Adoption Public Hearing \nApril 29\, 2025 \n3:30 pm to 4:30 pm \n12611 Ravenwood Dr. \nSuite B167-B168 \nChardon\, Ohio 44024 \n  \nPlease consider attending the public hearing if you would like to discuss the proposed Operation and Maintenance Compliance Inspection Fee of $300.00. \nAs part of the Operation and Maintenance program\, the Health District is obligated to perform compliance inspections if a homeowner does not perform the required maintenance for the system at the house during the permit term.  State law allows the Health District to recoup the cost of the compliance inspection. The purpose of this inspection is to confirm that a public health nuisance does not exist at the property. \n  \nIf you would like to comment\, but are not able to attend the meeting\, please send an email to info@geaugacountyhealth.org and your comments will be forwarded to the Board.
